Water Baby
Annabelle Still Loves her Babies!
Fun Play Date with Avery
Annabelle and I met Andi and Avery for a play date at Collin Creek Mall on Saturday. It was great to see the girls interact and to catch upw thi Andi. However, as Mom's, we had to get used to each conversation being interuppted by-Where did Annabelle go?--But we made do and had a nice time!
Avery is such a beauitful girl and I have never seen a baby interact and pose with the camera so much--as you can tell-Annabelle does not care much for smiling for pictures-but Avery, on the other hand-always has a smile to share! If you want to see more of her beauitful smiles-be sure to check out Andi's blog to the right-The Stubblefields.
Annabelle tried to get Avery to walk with her, but was not successful :)
But, she had fun Crusin around everything none the less. At one point, I found her walking around and "talking" to all of the mommies and daddies on the benches. She certaintly never met a stranger!

Friends
I have discovered that my daughter is quite an opinionated little girl and has not mastered the idea of sharing or playing WITH kids quite yet, but from time to time, she will watch other children play and enjoy their company. Until she decides to give some love pads and starts beating on her friends.... But, I pray daily that she will develop strong, deep relationships with friends in the years to come.
Here are some pictures of her playing with some of her friends:

Family Photos
This past weekend, my family got together for some family photos. I think Family Photos are so funny, because we try to get all beautified and put together and look perfect----but does that really represent the true "picture" of ANY family??? Of course not! But, none the less, as we take the pictures and then look at the results, we reject certain pictures because some one had an odd look on their face, others because so one is not looking, others because someone is throwing a temper tantrum and does not want to cooperate. But, the rejects are probably the ones that are the best representation of the family. However, those are the ones that get deleted or put into a folder on the computer and never seen again. Funny how we like to stuff "imperfect" things away and act like they do not exist and put in frames the idea of perfection that we all want to have.
However, I will show share the "good" pictures that were captured yesterday, all the while knowing all the conversations, complaining and heat exhaustion that went into each pose :)
